A Little About Me

I'm a mother of an adorable 17 month old who has completely changed my life.  Her smiles and giggles completely light up our house.  My husband and I have been amazed at how one little person can make a room full of adults act completely silly.  All for one little smile. 

My husband and I have been married since May of 2007.  He is in the military working full-time for the Utah National Guard.  The absences this causes are less than desirable, but I'm very proud of him and his service.

We love to hike, camp, go for walks, and do just about anything outside.  The last few years we've been experimenting with a vegetable garden, and we enjoy the feeling of growing some of our own food.

Over the past two years, my love of crafting (mainly sewing and crocheting) has been steadily growing.  I began with simple rag quilts, and tackled my first "pieced together" quilt this summer.  I loved it!!  It is safe to say that I am an addict.  I was introduced to crocheting in February of this year, and it has been a labor of love...and trial and error.
